Day 4: Montreuil sur mer and notebook destruction

Our first day without cycling felt a bit odd. No need to pack up tents and bags, no need to get up early!
We went for a wander into the town and window shopped (most places are closed on a Sunday) and raided the local carrefour for lunch and dinner, picking up some baguettes from a bakery that was still open!

Some of the 'pave' that we cycled across on our way into Montreuil.

A walk around the city ramparts aided digestion but a sudden craving for salt led to a crisp binge.
It turns out our campsite neighbors a derelict watermill.
After we got back to the tent I happened to lean on the Notebook, instantly destroying half the screen. Luckily the other half still works although it flickers a bit. I think its days are numbered. Its a fairly disheartening event after 3 intense days of traveling and decision making. On the back of moving house and getting equipment ready, its been a pretty flat out couple of weeks. Tomorrow we packup and head to the beach for a chillout and perhaps a pain au chocolat.
